Understanding English spoken by a Singaporean is HELL!

I gave up and told the customer to use MSN instead.

It seems the only people whose English I can understand with no difficulty are those from the northeast USA. Even British English sounds hard to understand to me.

I may look like a native in written form, but I sure ain't one.

11. Depending on perspective, my first language is either Spanish or Portuguese.

And English is part of the school curriculum in Brazil since elementary. After that, songs, movies, comics, college textbooks, manuals, and finally the tubes.
