Watching a documentary on Sundance
called Mardi Gras: Made in China. It's about the conditions under which Mardi Gras beads and other Mardi Gras tchozkies are made. Sad. One woman was asked how many hours a day she worked and responded that if she told the truth the boss migh punish her. She then confessed she works 15 or 16 hours a day with four hours sleep.

Hey, HAPPY MARDI GRAS!!!

1. I would not support China
If I were President I'd call for a complete boycott of China if possible. Worst human rights record on the planet. I despise China. I like the Chinese people, but I hate their government. I try whenever possible to not buy stuff made in China. It's getting harder and harder.
Then again, I don't like our government much for doing business with them and condoning their practices. But now we start getting into the stuff our government does, and the people our government supports, etc, and I start getting angry.
