The little girl was so cute. Greg Kinear was great. Steve Correll was really great! Just really loved it!

3. Steve Carrell broke my heart in the first 15 minutes.
I was blown away by his ability to convey the profound pain and embarrassment of surviving a suicide attempt, most of it without ever opening his mouth.

22. Funniest moment for me: Kinnear trying to "explain" to the highway cop
That was just over the top funny.

I also appreciated Toni Collette's work in the movie. The mom trying to pull the entire family together on the project for the little girl struck me as being so true and so heroic. I loved that most about the movie.

It wouldn't have been as refreshing without the interplay among the characters. Since nobody mentioned Paul Dano (as the teenaged son, Dwayne), I will. Toni Collette (as the mother, Sheryl) did her usual great work.
