These days I look at the upswing:

* more time to learn a career I won't ever get into because of offshoring
* no chance to get a STD that if can't be cured must be endured
* nobody to talk to (what else is new?)
* nobody to trust because for one reason or another it's not going to work out in the end


We're of a different generation... no wonder they want to offshore; we spend more time isolated with computers and garbage than working our butts off all day for criminally low wages and not breeding to ensure a healthy supply of troops. :sarcasm: :rofl:

Except I lost my wallet in the snow. It fell out of my purse as I was bringing in groceries Thursday night, then we got 2 more feet of snow and strong wind storms. So it's buried out in my driveway somewhere... if the snowplow didn't pick it up as it went by...

Oh well, I needed to get a Colorado driver license anyway. I still had my Florida license.

Single all my adult life (I just turned 56). It would be nice if I were to find a woman who is right for me; that still might happen, or it might not.

Actually I do like some of the advantages of being single, such as being able to come and go as I please. It would have to be somebody really special for whom I would be willing to give that up. But I would probably be willing for someone who is really right.
