How lazy were you when you were younger?
Did you avoid work? Cleaning? Anything that took any effort?
I was a little lazy, but now I can honestly say I'm not. In fact as I get older the more I want to work. When I'm not working I get restless. What's the deal with that? You'd think older people would be lazier.

1. Hey!
how ya doin?

I was lazy in some ways and not in others. Never on the job. I've always been a perfectionist about jobs, down to my first job at a fast food place. I'm getting 'less lazy' like you I guess, although I have to say, I'm getting stranger in that I am just getting rid of so much crap that complicates my life and makes it a chore. Like items or objects, carpeting, furniture that isn't necessary...I can't even think if there is crap everywhere. I've gotten rid of a ton of stuff in the last year or so.

2. I am still lazy
with cleaning and the like. I hate cleaning but do it so I don't feel like a big slob.

4. I was not lazy at all when I was young
I seem to have a harder time doing things that I need to do now. Perhpas it is because hard work seems to get me no where now, where as when I was young I got to be the straight A student and track star. It might also be because I have depression and anxiety which makes me less able to do things after working 50 hours a week under constant stress.

5. I wasn't lazy, I just
absolutely hated housework. I didn't mind working my rear-end off doing other things--mowing the lawn, helping my Dad lay foundations or hang drywall, painting, or tending the garden. I just HATED being stuck dusting, sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes just because I was a girl, while my *younger* brother got to do the things I enjoyed doing just because he was "the boy".

I started rejecting my gender role pretty early. To this day I hate housework, although I've grown to love cooking and baking.

7. No. I am lazier now
since I'm older. I'm fighting it though.

Perhaps it's because I drink more now?

10. Not lazy at all but it must have looked as though I was
because I spent my days reading, reading, reading. I don't think I've ever been what you'd consider lazy until the last year or so and now I seem to be stuck there.
