I'm going to see Bob Seger tonight with my 13 year old son.
It's the kids first concert so why not make it a good one. It should be a mixture of old-schoolers like myself along with youngsters who just like "old fashion rock n roll".
The last time I saw Seger live was around ohhhh... 1980 in South Florida. The first time I ever saw him was a couple of years earlier in 1976 and he played at the old Thunderbird Drive-in-Theater in Ft. Lauderdale. He had a pretty nice following in Detroit and Florida and when I saw him the first time, he had just come out with Beautiful Loser. He was awesome.
When I told my son I was taking him he bellowed...DAD take me to Green Day instead! LOL. Kids?
