What's the least religious song you ever sang as a Christmas carol?
Some of my friends and I sang some Janice Joplin tunes door to door during the holidays some years ago.

1. We were smartasses when we were teenagers
We'd do normal caroling, but during the trek between houses, we'd walk in a straight line chanting "Pie Jesu Domine (whack heads with hymnbooks) Dona Eis Requiem (whack heads again)"

The few people who "got it" thought it was hilarious. Everyone else just thought we were mental. :D

3. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
I get it, think its hysterical, AND think you are mental :)

Do I know you? My friends and I did the same thing caroling one year in High School, we thought it was hysterical but few others got it.

2. Frosty the Snowman
Has nothing to do with christmas, jesus, or even santa clause for that matter.

Or Winter Wonderland, which is just about fornication.

I know perverse lyrics to WW as well, tee hee - totally inappropriate for singing carols door to door in ones own neighborhood :)

4. My group knew the Kama Sutra lyrics from Hair ...

5. Joy to the World - Three Dog Night Version
The choir director announced we were going to sing "Joy to the World" and on an impulse I sang "Jeremiah was a bullfrog..." at the top of my lungs. Everyone, audience included, joined in and it was raucous, joyous, and fun beyond belief. The choir director was the only one not pleased and I was kicked out of choir as soon as the performance was over. But I have to tell you, as I look back years later it was worth it 100%.

7. OMG.... I did the same thing!
 This was at a school assembly when I was in first grade, and parents were there. Joy to the World was on the program, and when the music director announced we were going to sing it, I belted out, "Jeremiah was a bullfrog..." and my mother looked at me, stunned. She started laughing, then my dad did, and then everyone around us did. :P

GMTA... Yours was better, though! :D
