2. Years ago my brother told me a story about trying to find steel-tipped darts at a Walmart....

My bro (who is a hardcore RW neocon) had joined a dart league that played with real darts (as opposed to the plastic tipped-ones). He went into this Walmart and couldn't find any on the selves so he went to the sporting goods counter and asked the clerk if they carried them.

In the display case between them were an assortment of pistols, ammo and mean looking hunting knives. Behind the clerk was a wall displaying several types of rifles. The clerk told Kevin in a deadpan voice, "Walmart has determined that steel-tipped darts can be dangerous and therefore we will not carry them."

The clerk then looked around at the various displays, turned back to Kevin and said, "I know. You don't have to say it."

I love that story.
