I just bought a new car
This one, in particular:

Phone camera which is why the pictures aren't very good.

I really wanted black or dark blue, but they offered me £500 more on my trade-in price against this model they had in their showroom. That was very persuasive, so I went with the silver.

Funny. I had a really good nose around that car a month ago when mine was in for its inspection. Never thought I would end up owning it. They stuck the SOLD sign in it while I was there. I can pick it up next Saturday. :D

5. Unfortunate defect.

I hope it won't trick you into driving on the wrong side of the road, too!

3. So this is what we'll go cruisin' in?

I've always owned dark-colored cars. I'm seeing why silver and that champaign color are so popular. They hide the dirt very well.

Congratulations Billy.

4. Hi lizzie!
 :loveya:

Silver doesn't hide the dirt well on my CURRENT car (which is also silver). But maybe that is a special case. When the sales guy was looking it over, I was like it's actually in quite good condition under all this dirt.

Seriously, my car is so fucking dirty. :D

Good to see you sweetie! :*

7. One of our stops
will be the car wash. Can't have you driving in a dirty car.

My current car is burgundy. It shows everything. It looks nice about 30 seconds after it's washed. :(

Somebody ought to measure the colour of dirt. Then, make paint in that colour. :D

"I'll have it in metallic dirt colour, please."

9. My mom once drove a car that has an unidentified color
honestly, it was like the company threw all left-over colors together and put it over this car. Never saw another car in that color. It was brownish-purple-green all mixed together. Easy to find

15. Really nice car. What engine?
Back long ago in the day, my roommate had a Skoda and suffered from a lot of Skoda jokes. Lately, I have discovered CZ and gained a lot of appreciation for machines Chech. Wish we had them here.

18. Two litre turbo (petrol)
Skoda aren't the same Skoda any more. They are under the VW umbrella and have completely reinvented themselves.

Communist countries never made good cars. :D

21. 2 liters blown
Specs looks like it would get you down the autobahn. Certainly enough to earn a speeding ticket here in South Texas. Czech never had much incentive to make good cars in the old Soviet days. Still, Skodas were lots better than the other crap available when the Wall came down. Hope its the 6 speed manual. By the way, I like the color.

It's a Skoda? In my profound ignorance about international car makers, I've never heard of it.

But that is a nice car.

It's ok, in Canada I saw many brands of car I'd never heard of before either. Skoda are a company from the Czech republic, under the VW umbrella since 1991.

Congratulations!

Now, can you tell an ignorant Yank what a Skoda is and where they're from? I know the name, just nothing about the.

I see now they're Czech under the VW umbrella. I LOOKS like a VW at first glace. Nice!

25. Wow, billy!
What a cool car, sweetie!

It's so much fun having a new car!

And just think.........I'll get to see it!

BTW, the color isn't only good for hiding the dirt..........

It's also good for keeping the car cool!

The light colors reflect the sunlight, while the dark ones absorb it....

Congratulations, sweetie!
