Ice cream
Who doesn't love this stuff?

It comes in any number of flavors, just don't ask for chocolate wobble, pistachio, and peach. For one thing, you're ain't never going to find it. I can't imagine why, the flavor sounds utterly disgusting. Blasted pistachios...

I love Edy's Slow-Churned 50% fewer calories "Triple Chocolate". This must mean I can eat twice as much of it for the same net weight gain. Cool. They use Splenda instead of real sugar. This probably makes it "healthy". But isn't a prime ingredient on chocolate sugar? (Edy's announces "No Sugar Added" then goes on to add "Contains 3 grams of sugar compared to 22 grams of sugar in regular ice cream." Does that sound right to you? But at the end of their web page, Edy's chickens out: "Please be sure to check the actual product label since the information contained here may have changed." Most importantly, they also mention this little tidbit: "Sugar alcohols, 8(g)". Does this mean I have to whip out my big ID card to prove to them I am of legal age?!

Stores also sell this stuff called 'soft serve' ice cream. How do they make it soft to give it that luscious texture?

And why is normal ice cream is not called 'Hard serve'? Makes sense to me...

And when you eat gobs of the stuff, do you ever get a headache or stomachache because you ate it too fast and it was still cold? If I heated it in the microwave beforehand, would that prevent those headaches from happening? Of course, would I then have to serve it in a bowl or mug because it's no longer "ice cream" but now "water cream"?

And that's another thing! Why is it called "ice cream" when there's no ice in it? It's milk, cream, sugar, truckloads of sugar (unless it's Splenda when they can literally double the price of the product), and heaps of chemicals that would encourage any scientist to turn into an Organic Vegetarian...

But I digress. Just how does one soften a hard serve ice cream? The same way as how they make soft serve soft, only for a longer period of time? Talk about stamina... I hope the ice cream isn't frigid...

1. Sorry
But I LOVES my pistachio ice cream when I can find it. The only problem is that it makes my fingertips red. I really should use a spoon.

5. Have you ever tried eating ice cream with a fork?
Or, better yet, do the compromise routine and go for it with a spork? :D

2. Ice cream is about the only sweet food I really love
but if I eat it more than one or two days in a row, I start to put on the pounds so I try to avoid it. I'm hoping that if there's a heaven then one can eat ice cream all day there and never gain an ounce.

7. I do microwave
my ice cream, but only for 20 seconds (half gallon). It gives it just enough give to actually remove it from the container without melting it too much.

8. Water cream? Don't you mean "ice cream soup"?
You are obviously not an aficionado of "Pee Wee's Playhouse".
