A question: How do you resize photographs?
I posted a thread of some pictures I had taken and I want to add it to my journal. But the pictures are so big they mess up the screen, so I'm going to put them in a new thread that I'll post directly to my journal instead of in the Lounge. I have the photos saved on Photobucket. Is there any way to make them smaller?

Thanks in advance! :hi:

1. PhotoBucket...
has a resize option. When you click on the picture, there are a number of options across the top. It might make the picture too small though.

Another consideration is using a photo manipulation program such as Irfanview, to resize the picture and then re-upload to photobucket.

3. My dear otherlander!
I use Photobucket.......they give you very clear options.

I always resize down to message board size, and it works.......

If you're unhappy with the size, you can always delete the pic, and reload a new one......

And do it again.....

But I haven't had to do that recently.......:hi:

4. Thanks Peggy...
I did that to four of them, but it only seems to make one of them smaller... Oh, well. Maybe I should go to bed and try again when I'm not tired. :)

10. If it doesn't seem to make them smaller after you resize, hold CTRL and refresh the page.
The problem there is that your cache still has the larger images so that's what your browser displays. Holding CTRL clears the cache of that page and its elements when you refresh.
