1. Are you thinking of Classic Arts Showcase?
See link below:

To answer your question, yes, I watch it and I love it! :woohoo: In my area it's run on a community college station, generally midnight to 8:00 a.m. and then all day and night on the weekends.

And it's great for classical fans, but movie buffs, dance enthusiasts, animation lovers, and jazz fans will find plenty to enjoy. I've seen footage of Peggy Lee, Anna Russell, Jascha Heifetz, Nelson Eddy, Bryn Terfel, Maria Callas, the King's Singers, and many, many more.

3. My pleasure.
I'm practically an evangelist for that channel, especially since there are so few programs broadcast for culture junkies. PBS has something every now and then, but Bravo and A&E don't even bother anymore, or so it appears. TCM is still terrific.

But Classic Arts Showcase I can't live without!

5. Wall-to-wall reality and investigation shows!
Law and Order (and its ilk) is becoming like The Odd Couple on the New York television stations in the '80s: on all the time!

See you elsewhere on the dial.

:hi:
