It's really foggy down here in New Haven.

And I am so hot. I think my work office has the heat on. :wtf:

6. Toad's is still around.
Barely. They had to pay all this money for violating lots of rules for selling to minors.

I never go there. I think that place smells, as in has a bad odor.

Yes, some really awesome bars and great places to eat!

:hi:

8. Haven't been bar hopping in that area in nearly 20 years
:(

But I still remember the pizza! Modern's, Pepe's, Sally's. :)

And Humphry's used to be great! Buffalo Wings, burgers and beer, hopefully from New Haven brewing company.

11. They were real cool for a while, then tried to get corporate
got a consultant in there to try and maximize profits or something and the place wasn't as fun. The wait staff no longer drank with you, etc. There was one waitress there, Audra, who used to take care of us all the time. Great person.

Modern's rocks. The clam casino pie is my favorite. You know that church across the street to the right? My dad's church used to rent that place for a while, he's the preacher. He then bought a place in Branford. I used to go to Modern all the time, skipped out on church a lot. :)

15. I know what you mean... Cincinnati here...
I think our afternoon high today was in the mid sixties.. Its been raining all day and a few hours ago I went to the store without a jacket and the air felt 'muggy'...

Its been a weird winter here...We have not had so much as a flurry yet. My crocus' daffs, and tulips are already starting to come up... a few of my trees are budding...

Im into gardening so Im worried that if our winter actually comes, it will kill my bulbs and hurt some trees..

Normally in my area it should be in the 30's as a high, gray, and the occasional ice storm.. Im worried... something seems really outta whack

17. Alright. It's NOT GLOBAL WARMING that is making your outside temp 60 degrees
It happened in the 90's as well. El Nino is in town, and this amazing warm front ends on Sunday. Sure, it won't get back down to normal temps, but 2 years ago it was still snowing in MA will into May.

I recognize that global warming is happening, and it is warming the environment, and that we're basically screwed. This isn't it.

Enough with the hyuck hyuck "Global warming anyone" garbage. Pick up a newspaper and learn why this is happening.

18. Here in Northeastern Minnesota
we've only had two nights below zero. The high today was in the 30's, much higher than average for this time of year. It shouldn't be getting out of the 20's.
