What's your Catch Phrase®?
To really get ahead in this world, you have to have a really cool catch phrase. There are many outstanding phrases being used today- some good- Dirty Harry's "Make my day.", some sublime- Fonzie's "'Ayyyyyyy!", some ridiculous- Chachi's "Wa wa wa!"- the list, of course, is endless.

Everybody needs that little something extra that sets them apart from the mediocre. Some believe a laugh track is enough. Others go for the punchline-and-a-rim shot. Still others feel the need to take a further step into physical expression, doing everything from a simple sidewalk-crack-trip to a complex Silly Walk. Still others try to stand out with unique clothing choices or off-the-beaten path hair styles. To each their own.

But be that as it may, the simplest way to shine the spotlight of mass respect upon oneself has always been the catch phrase. Myself, I can't respect a person if they can't come up with a clever, meaningful, unique sentence that says it all about who they really are.

Who are you? Who are you really? How do you sum up your own individual personality for the world to gape agog at in unabashed respect?

My nymsake, of course, would eloquently state that he is not a number, but is a free man. However, I in my life of unrestrained reality have a simpler, more succinct message to deliver to the world: Hot damn, I'm good!®

And you can take that to the bank.

1. I don't have a catch phrase
But I tend to growl when I screw something up.

Maybe that's why I'm not "getting ahead in this world", as you put it. I'll have to visit catch-phrase.com, maybe theres a psych test that matches a person with an appropriate phrase.

Maybe something Darwinian, like "Hold my beer, and watch THIS!", right before doing something really stupid.

:)
