Who makes a better digital camera?

I've decided on either Nikon or Canon. But I'm open to other suggestions as well.

1. Basically it comes down to which one you like over the other.

I have two Canons and I've been happy with them both.

Also is the picture taking instant??? Ive seen digital cameras it "waits" 10 seconds until it actually takes the picture. It is a real pain when taking pics of sports or something with action.

4. Gotta say Canon

Nikon's point'n'shoot digital cameras never appealed to me... and the moire problem with the D70 DSLR made a $1500 tool into a petty toy.

wasn't there primary products copiers though? Somebody told me that when buying cameras don't buy from a company whose primary product is not optical. Like SONY or some others. Canon, I think does a pretty good job though.

I miss Minolta when they were just Minolta...

And Sony's latest line sounds better on paper; is very fragile in real life.

11. I love my Canon. My roomie loves her Nikon.

I'm bigger, faster and stronger than she is. I also earn more money and drive a newer car. I also have blue eyes, she does not. My penis is MUCH bigger than hers.
