We no sooner got outside...and fireworks went off. My old girls (11 and 6) do NOT like fireworks. Slowpokes beat me back to the stairs. Poor babies.

and will not venture out again tonight. Funny here in the Keys; always there are these crazy fireworks around any holiday.

Anyway, one is on the couch and the other is on my roomie's bed....so they'll be fine. They are both Keys dogs anyway.
