i went to the gas station the other morning to get change of a dollar and was told i either had to wait or buy something.

there was not one single item in the entire place that was less than $1.29.

they didn't even sell the 5 slice packs of wrigley's gum for a quarter or however much they cost now.

and that is relatively minor.

i can think of manifold fees, charges, and other items that are sneaked into practically most (not all) transactions with any type of company/business/store.

not to mention the automatic "arbitration agreement" that results when you purchase or sign for something.

oy gewoelt!

1. Funny you should mention this
I'm currently bouncing between the Warner Brothers customer service, and Amazon.com's customer service right now, because of a mistake in the WB's packaging of some of their products...and of course, its all my fault, and I got to deal with it...

5. its not that much of a pain, I'm the one
pushing it, but it was the WB's mistake. Its a minor gripe, actually, and I hoped it would be taken care of easily...but essentially, in the 14 disc superman set, superman III is suppose to have a butt load of extras on it, tv spots, deleted scenes, cast/crew, commentary, a making of superman III, and things like that...

The disc I have for Superman III, only has the movie, and the trailer...I am trying to get the right disc, but amazon is blaming the WB, and the WB is blaming Amazon...and I blame the WB, its not like Amazon produced/packaged the damn set, they are just selling it....
