If they're from someone who always mailed me a real card in the past.
Yeah, I guess the e-card senders are just a lot more clever than I am since I'm obviously stuck in another era. :sarcasm: Here I spent the time to pick out and pay for the right card (actually mail-ordered them from the World Wildlife Federation catalog), spent the time hand-addressing the envelopes, spent the time to hand-write something in each one, licked em all and sealed them, AND....AND!!! bought 39 cent stamps for all of them.
And all the ecard senders had to do was go to a free site, pick out something generic, pull up their email address book and hit SEND. Just hit SEND. Looks like the too-hip-plugged-in-information-age ecard senders are just WAY smarter than me.
AND, their thoughtful Xmas ecards went into my SPAM folder, so I just opened them today. Thanks ever so much for the Xmas cheer spam. I guess I could print them out and display them with the more tangible holiday greetings I received from my non-cheap-ass friends and relatives, but then I'd have to use my own color printer ink. :grr:
Christmas ecard senders shall HENCEFORTH be forever STRICKEN from El Fuego's Christmas mailing list! :grr::grr:
