1. My dear Writer..........
There is nothing wrong with you, sweetie....

And 18 months is hardly older!

My husband is four and a half years older than I am, and I hardly consider that older.....

36. I'm sorry, but check your math. You are definitely not 63.
I saw your pic. No way. X does NOT = 30 in your case. Maybe 20 but not 30.I am 63 and I know these things, especially algebra.:toast:

39. You're correct. X does not equal 30.
Because X equals 31.

2x+1 = 63

2x = 63 - 1

2x = 62

(1/2)2x = 62 (1/2)

x = 31

5. I feel really, really hard for an older man last year
Mid-fifties I think. He was the attorney that taught my paralegal program. He was from China and I was just floored by how brilliant he was...he'd only been over here, had gotten his JD and practiced for a while and was just teaching that course. I used to love to argue with him...man we had some great debates, which is a real turn-on for me. Long story short, I really felt like he was starting to put the moves on me, so I dropped out. I had realized that curriculum wasn't a good fit for me anyway, and I knew the way I felt about this guy I would not be able to resist if he actually ever touched me. So I ran, which was the right thing to do, because I deserve better than to be a mistress. But I used to have the most erotic dreams about him. :)

6. I am very deeply in love with someone right now.
Poor guy. He's in his late 50's. But I'm also very deeply in love with my husband! Geesh...

It is HARD not going after him. I think he may have a steady relationship of his own, as well, and a relationship with me would make life rather complicated for him, and that would not be fair.

But my God, if there is anything I can do about the constant thoughts I have about him... they've been going on for about a year.

11. I can't tell if I'm obsessed or in love.
I just sort of put it all into perspective. If we were to ever get involved, not only would it be bad for my marriage, but his job would be in serious jeopardy, not to mention any future I would have in my field. I care about him A LOT - his health, his happiness, etc. He's only given me hints in the past that he cared about me, too, but he's not very good at assessing his emotions, so if he has anything at all for me, it's well-suppressed.

My ex was 8 yrs younger and in the last few yrs, the majority have been 15-20 yrs younger. :wow:

It's crazy, I know. But, I'm not attracted to older men or even men my age. Which is why I've resigned to being single for the rest of my life.

61. Nothing Is Wrong With You!
age is just a number

when you are young, it's one thing

my first serious relationship was with someone 3 years older than me (which would be no big deal now but I was 16 and she was 19 and that didn't go over well with parents)

I find many older women attractive.

I find many younger women attractive.

What is wrong with you is that you think there is something wrong with you.
