My son FINALLY listened to me. He left Santa a ham sandwich and a beer, instead of
cookies and milk.

Santa's pretty happy right now, even if the kid did go a bit light on the mayo.

1. Beer and a sandwich are what we always left for Santa.....
He always seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. :)

3. Our first attempt tonight
to leave out cookies was confiscated (by the damn dog, didn't she realize she'd be getting them later?!?!) So we had to go back and put a couple more, this time on the mantle where garbage hound can't reach.

But next year, we are so doing the sandwich and beer thing!!

5. Yep. I told my kid: "Don't you think the Big Guy gets tired of cookies?" And furthermore,
the reindeer are dragging the sleigh around, so it doesn't matter if Santa has a beer or two.

8. Flying around the world gets monotonous at times.
Maybe some TexMex one year. Tamales would be great with a Dos Equis or two.

9. Santa better be careful flying his sleigh...
...especially if more kids start following his example...

11. But what if Santa is an observant Jew...
Edited on Mon Dec-25-06 04:39 AM by Kutjara
...or a Muslim? Perhaps a salt-beef on rye or some pastrami would be better.

Of course, if St. Nick is Hindu...

12. Haha, good logic, Santa has gotta get tired of milk and cookies at every other house
Leave something different and you'll get better gifts.

17. Why haven't I thought of this?
We left cookies, carrots and egg nog. The kitten drank the egg nog and barfed on my new slippers.
