Could be that my mother died 30 years ago this year. Just when you think you get over something...bam.

1. Sometimes things just sneak up and blindside you...
...some things you never 'get over'...you just get used to living with them.

4. Thanks. It's surreal being in Florida during the holidays.
It's muggy and hot and dumb.

3. Gray Warrior, the Schrodinger family welcomes you as an honorary
member this Christmas eve night. Turn the heater up, pull the nice warm throw around your shoulders, and think of all the others out there that wish you a sweet christmas and a new year full of health, and things that work out right...:pals:
This little family had a tough year too, and somehow that makes the small blessings that we have just a bit more precious. Hugs and warmth to you!!! You're not alone as long as you have DU!

6. oh, graywarrior
I'm sending you lots of hugs tonight. My father died 10 years ago, this December 26th. I understand how you are feeling. You are not alone. There are years that are better than others, but you never forget. I think your mother would want you to celebrate her life, how much she loved you, and all that you shared together.

Please know that there are lots of us thinking of you tonight, and holding you close-
