Need an appropriate gift for our mail carrier! Your suggestions, please.

I don't know what to get him, since I don't know him. I think that money is not appropriate. I don't bake but I could buy him some nice cookies. Or candy.

No one ever has enough pairs of nice warm gloves especially mail carriers.

we give him money every year and we do know him, have known him for over 20 years now

If I were to give such a person a gift, a pair of gloves would be good.

7. As an ex-mail carrier...booze is always popular.

I'm an ex-drinker so I could always swap mine to other carriers for I liked. Cookies or candy are good because the carriers *usually* share them.

ship a lot of packages throught the year, so she works harder for me than my neighbors! I've never heard it wasagainst the law to give them money????
