My boss didn't know, and it was kinda funny to me.
He's an ultra conservative and highly religious Republican who's got on his me-too flag lapel pin in imitation of his beloved George War-monger Bush. Today I noticed that pin was upside-down. Since it fit MY notion of how it should be worn at all times, I let him go that way all day long. It would be great if he was aware of the orientation of the pin, but I suspect it'll be flipped over the minute he discovers that he's been signaling distress with it all day long.

1. Doesn't seem to be too experienced in management ...
... of diverse employees. Might consider dropping an anonymous note to HR that he's promoting division among his employees.

2. Wheres the division?
He has his views....

Does he make many vocal statements that seem divisive?

My paranoid doctor/boss has gone "over the top" and has taken CMEs in everything "law enforcement" from fire to SWAT/cop to military." The thinking must be along the lines of "Why risk taking orders when one can give them on the day of reckoning." Anyway...

One day the office intercom blared out "ok folks put up your hands and take off your clo..." It's a good thing no patients were in the consult rooms. Later, it was "ah, ah, just a joke..." I think I've got PTSD and/or Stockholm syndrome at the same time now. Comp time?

VERY SCARY!!!
