16. My favorite as well, I read somewhere, Frank Capra did not intend
on "It's A Wonderful Life" becoming a Christmas movie, but instead thought of it as movie about depression, suicide and the ripples in the pond we all make in our everyday lives.

12. How an angel became the top of the Xmas tree.
Santa was very cross. It was Christmas Eve and NOTHING was going right. Mrs. Claus had burned all the cookies. The elves were complaining about not getting paid for the overtime they had while making the toys. The reindeer had been drinking all afternoon and were dead drunk. To make matters worse, they had taken the sleigh out for a spin earlier in the day and had crashed it into a tree.

Santa was furious. "I can't believe it! I've got to deliver millions of presents all over the world in just a few hours - all of my reindeer are drunk, the elves are on strike and I don't even have a Christmas tree! I sent that stupid little angel out HOURS ago to find a tree and he isn't even back yet! What am I going to do?"

Just then, the little angel opened the front door and stepped in from the snowy night, dragging a Christmas tree. He says, "Yo, fat man! Where do you want me to stick the tree this year?"

And thus the tradition of angels atop the Christmas trees came to pass.

15. It's not on the list ...
... and I wouldn't expect it to be.

But for me it became a "Christmas Classic" the minute it was first aired: The first "West Wing" Christmas episode, where Toby arranges a military funeral for the homeless vet who is found dead in a DC park.

20. Fav story "Gift of the Magi"..fav movie "It's a Wonderful Life"
second fav movie "Miracle on 34th Street" Although I did love.."Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Clause" cause when I was a kid I lived in (and still do) Virginia and of course being so egocentric I thought it was about Virginia the state and not Virginia the girl!

29. A Christmas Story.
I watch that every year. I was a kid in the midwest around that time and it is so nostalgic for me - especially that school. I went to one that looked just like that.
