7. the good news is
they do grow out of it.

Think of it this way, if your kids stayed as sweet and wonderful as they are, you would never want them to leave home. That's why they turn into teens and become horrible. It's the only way we can learn to hate them enough to want them to get the hell out. Hang in there. It will get better.
