Can't find a Nintendo Wii so he buys a !@#$%^ Playstation 3!

Darnit and blast it to hell. I have been quietly gleeful for the last month that my husband has been unable to put his hands on a Nintendo Wii. Son of a gun calls a few minutes ago to tell me he lucked into a 60 Gig PS3. Some moron was returning it because he had meant to buy a Wii and bought a PS3 by mistake. How in the hell do you do that?

I'm selling it on eBay. I am so sick of electronic games in this house and the penises who live here squabbling for play time. Computer, GameBoy, GameCube, PS1, PS2, PSP...when is it going to STOP?!

I thought "penises who live here" and "rant over" would be enough of a clue that I wouldn't seriously sell my husband's toy out from under him. Pass this one on by folks. It's a dud. Frankly, I find it a bit ironic that he wasn't able to get a Wii but was able to acquire a PS3. Isn't it supposed to be the other way around? And doesn't anybody find it bizarre that someone bought a PS3 by mistake?!

It's not one I use often, but it's a joke. And yes, every once in awhile my husband will make a comment that I'm the "token tits" in the house. Is that how we routinely refer to one another? Absolutely not. It's meant to be light-hearted and totally teasing.

I totally understood what you were saying and I don't think it's the least bit offensive. In fact, I rather appreciated your story. I've had to take up some of these games just to get quality time with the men in my family - of all ages.

But, I guess we don't all have the same sense of humor. Personally, some of the non-PC stuff makes me laugh the hardest. Including non-PC things about myself. Hell, would we even have stand-up comedy if people had to be PC 100% of the time? I think not. I once saw George Carlin live and he warned the audience that at some point during his routine, every single person in the crowd would be offended. And he was right! I was offended at a portion, but spent the rest of the time laughing my ass off.

17. My dear PP, I'm surprised that your Husband translator is off. When he said that he bought it by

mistake, he meant that he was going to try to get the Wii at 250ish, but got the chance to buy a PS3 at 650 and he got caught up in the excitement and spent the extra 400 bucks since he could be one of the lucky few to get one. Since he had to come home and explain it to you, he said it was a mistake. There's no way it was a legit mistake. Trust me, I'm a husband and I would have done the same thing.:-)

"New and Improved" ones - what a racket! There's a new system every other year and NONE of the old stuff is compatible AND
it's all RIDICULOUSLY expensive.

Plus, I thought the Wii was like $250 and the PS3 was more like $600 - that's a BIG damn difference! So even if you were really annoyed by that, I'd understand.

that the penises in your household are lucky mo-fos to get a PS3 because they are impossible to get now. My son is a Game Art and Design student in SF. He wonders why the guy returning the PS3 didn't put it on eBay and collect a wad. He said the PS3 with a couple games are going for about $2,000'ish on eBay.
