He lifted up his shirt and you could see it flashing inside his stomach. As his dad videotaped the boy and his brother he was saying "When his brother told me he could see the toy flashing LED in his gut,I didn't believe him. But there it is. Because it has a battery we have to get a doctor to remove it tommorow."

Now you know other boys are just gonna have to do it.

1. Some of the stuff they show on AFV shouldn't be shown
That's one example. And this floored me: "Because it has a battery we have to get a doctor to remove it tommorow."

Tomorrow?!?!?!?

How about going to ER right then and there, cretin? Your kid has a BATTERY in his STOMACH, and all you do is videotape it and send it in to AFV?

Aside from morons like this, I like AFV, overall. But in some of those videos, there are people who should be cited for child abuse or neglect.

2. Yeah... that is a bit disturbing
I guess everything turned out fine or they wouldn't be on AFV... but still

3. Just because he said it
Doesn't mean his wife didn't whup his ass all the way to the emergency room that night, chastising him for grabbing the video camera instead of rushing the kid to the hospital....

Funny stuff, but I have to agree with another poster that if it made the show then all is ok.

Child abuse and neglect is a little harsh, most of the stuff is accidental (or just down right hysterical). Everyone's kids do crazy, sometimes dangerous, sh*t all the time. I wish I caught half of some of the stuff my kids do on vid (my 2 year old can jump off of things over 3' high and land on his feet, that's like 4" bigger than he is, its amazing to watch).

If there is ever anything that is truly abusive, in any way, you would never see it on AFV and I'm sure they would report it.

5. I no longer watch that show
I saw an episode a few weeks ago, after not watching it for years, and it was just as disturbing and unfunny as I'd remembered. Most of the things they showed were people (mainly children) falling and having accidents. I got so disgusted I turned it off after about 10 minutes.
