I was going down a busy street in a residential neighborhood that is notorious for cops giving tickets to drivers who go even one mile over the speed limit. I have lived in this neighborhood most of my life and I would never go over the speed limit on this particular street. Just a couple months ago I was pulled over for going 27 MPH in a 25 MPH zone on this same street. Since then, I have been very careful about my speed on this street.
So I am driving right at the 25 MPH speed limit and I am all of a sudden blinded by bright lights in my rear view mirror. I think maybe I am imagining this since some of these newer cars have those blinding headlights on them. Then I happen to catch the guy flashing his brights at me while I am looking in my rear view mirror. He left them on bright. So I slow down to 20 MPH. And he flashes his lights at me again.
So I pull over and let the guy pass me and I turn on my brights and get right on his ass. I followed him for about a mile. He is gesturing at me in his rear view mirror. When we got to a light, he put on his blinker to turn right and I put mine on too. He turned his blinker off. The light changed and he turned right and I went straight. As he turned, he held his middle finger out the window at me.
What a butthead! I am still having trouble seeing. Since when is blinding a motorist a sensible way to drive?
