6. Eggplant
Edited on Sun Dec-10-06 07:51 PM by hippywife
sliced thin, breaded, and fried. Then layered in a casserole with tomato sauce, grated paremesan, and Italian 5-cheese blend in between each layer, about 4 layers high. I meant to put gorgonzola between the layers, too, and forgot to buy any. Topped off with a buncha cheese and baked until browned. With an Italian salad. Yummy! :9

24. In New York, we have a grocery delivery service called "Fresh Direct".
You order your stuff online and they deliver right to your door. Great prices and amazing quality.

We used to order their burgers with bacon and cheese embedded inside the beef. OMG. Pure heaven.

27. well husband went to the store for toilet paper this morning, and evidently
he was hungry, because among other "goodies" now safely stashed in the freezer, there is some kind of sara lee apple crumb pie baking in the oven right now (his way of getting something he likes while reminding me that I mostly only bake pies for other people - strangers he says).

for the meal it would appear we are having boneless pork loin chops grilled over mesquite, corn and probably some sort of potato concoction - whoops scratch that it's Kraft mac and cheeselike powder.

He is not as into healthy eating as I wish but I can't complain when he's doing the cooking!:9
