among other things, are what we have left from the party.

Actually, three bottles of wine and several confections from Harry & David were hostess gifts I received. The food is left over, and some other guests brough seasonal beers and left them here with us.

It was a blast! The party was supposed to run from 6pm to 9pm. Our earliest guests arrived at 4:45 (prearranged with us so the four of us could have a glass of wine and talk and go through the music and just relax before everyone else arrived). The last guests left about 11:20 or 11:30. I got lots of compliments on our Christmas decor. My husband had set up the fireplace outside and had a nice fire going for anyone who wanted to go outside. We also had our family room set up with snacks and music and darts if anyone wanted to play. The party mostly took place in the great room (our living room, dining, and kitchen area) with lots of laughs, good food, and great music. We had a terrific time.
