Fireworks in the city limits.
I usually like to go pop some fireworks on the 4th of July and on New Years. I'm probably going to pop some later tonight.

Sometimes I'll go out to a friends house out in the country, but more often than not I'll just pop them here in the city limits.

All the years, no one has ever gotten injured, nothing has ever been burned, and we still havent gotten caught yet.

What are your opinions on popping fireworks in city limits?

I personally have no problems with it unless something goes wrong or someone deliberately targets someone else's property.

1. It's not just the danger...as that can be managed
its the sound too. How loud are they and what time would you do them?

2. not sure
It's allowed here and the people are burning crackers and launching rockets like crazy. Especially black-market fireworks and alcohol lead to severe injuries (and have made sleeping difficult for a few days and will continue to do so).

On the other hand: it looks great, is a lot of fun, harmless if handled with care and a 100-million-Euro domestic industry. Especially the dangerous illegal fireworks would be a lot more common, should the harmless "Böllern" get banned.

3. Rock and roll
Unless it is really dry and a fire hazard I say go for it!

4. Dumb. Stupid.
Every year fires get started or someone loses and eye or a few fingers but not from your fireworks, right?
