It's a great design and you'll separate the geeky wheat from the chaff. True geeks will know its a tesseract. The rest of the world will just think it's pretty.

But I do wonder how that's going to look as a tat. Someone mentioned above that you'll need someone very good to pull it off well and I'll certainly second that sentiment, if it can be done at all.
