5. Calms me. But it's not like Chamomile. Twig tea soothes.
It come from a Japanese tree. They use it as a blood cleanser.

14. I've been out of balance. Too much sugar and flour. Miserable personality.
Rice centers me. Exorcises my demons.

15. I never heard of this diet before
I'm willing to try anything. Like you, I eat too much wheat. I try to avoid it but it's very hard, particularly if you're eating out.

16. It's a macrobiotic "remedy" of sorts.
Very extreme, but I eat close to that diet, so it is not dangerous for me. Even so, by day 3 or 4, I probably will not drive or do anything that requires major decisions. Get Jessical Porter's book on macrobiotics. Gives a great description on how to lose weight on this type of diet.

17. Well a regular excorcism is good for all of us.......
or at least you'll be regular. You might consider a few raw almonds with that diet to get a wee bit of essential fatty acids. Otherwise the body will start cannibalizing itself.

Or some other reason? Where do you get your bancha from?

I've not seen it anywhere in the states (but on the other hand, I've never looked for it, either)
