I have this weird habit when reading books.
After I get into the book, sometimes it's takes a couple chapters, other times only a couple pages. But after I get into it I flip to the back and read the last word on the last page. Anyone else do that? Or am I just weird.. well, I know I'm weird, but am I weird because of this? :P

1. I don't.
But, I know a few people who will read the last chapter first---which makes no sense to me.

3. My weird thing is that I go to the last page and note the page number.
Then every now and then when I get through reading a bunch I'll be like "ok, I'm 1/3rd done now". I keep mentally calculating a rough fraction of how far I'm through the book.

10. I always break down and read the last chapter...
as Harry said in "When Harry met Sally"...it would be horrible to die and not know how the book ended.

19. Weird, yes. Alone, no.
I have been known to go to the back and read the whole last paragraph.

I stopped doing this a while ago, not sure why.

Am I the only one who reads like this?

23. Yes, that is weird.
I will look to see how many pages there are, but I carefully avoid reading ANYTHING on the last page.

I do that all the time. Just the last word, or sometimes the last sentence. It's kind of a forbidden pleasure, you know?

33. I read just enough of the last few pages to know how it ends.
And like you, it can be anywhere from 2 pages to 50 pages in, I'll still flip to the end and see what's happened. Hard to resist. I think, especially if I like the characters in the book, I want to make sure they're OK - maybe that's weird.

And if it's a mystery series or something with many recurring charcters, I'll check to see if the author has bumped any of them off. Like in the Kinsey Milhone Sue Grafton (author) books, I worry that Henry, Kinsey's really cool but elderly landlord, dies. So I have to check with each released book to make sure he's still alive at the end.
