Nana to Shortbus: "If you don't get a job soon...
You should just go back to tossing salads." :D:D:D:D:D:cry:

Apparently our boy had a job in high school as "the salad guy" at a restaurant. (So he tells me, anyway. ;)) I'm pretty sure I sprained a couple of vital organs trying to stifle that laugh, but that statement alone made the entire trip worthwhile. :D

1. That is too fucking funny
I'm spraining vital organs myself cackling madly.

I take it from your post that you are all once again safely ensconced in Casa de short bus. Glad you're back. :hi:

4. We are indeed
FINALLY home. I'm guessing there will be a lengthy post upcoming by Mr. Bus regarding the condition in which we found our home upon returning. Let it just be said that the complete electrical malfunction that greeted us (including no heat or water) added a perfect *middle finger salute from the gods* to what was already an altogether stressful journey. x(

PS-- Thanks for the care package. :D

:yourock: :*

6. *Wholly* cussworthy
See above. ;)

Although, I did get a pug puppy, which I have wanted for only about a bastard million years, so that was far beyond excellent. :D :bounce:

Hope you had a great one! :pals:

8. No, it sucked....
But hey, at least I survived. My only present was a stocking full of candy, and I'm on the Atkins diet. My wife and I fought like meat-crazed big cats the entire time. And my mother nad grandmother have gone insane....

The GD forum is like an oasis of sanity compared to my Xmas.

Puppy, huh? Cool!!!

10. If we could've
figured out some way to legally dose Shortbus' mother with some high-potency valium, it might've been better. ;)

I've decided planes are just of the devil. Nothing that is that big and weighs that much should be able to fly, and my brain will NOT let me forget that. Also, we had a layover both ways at *George Asshat Bush the Elder* Airport in Houston, which has a vomit-inducing huge bronze statue of the bastard right in the center. x(

Arizona, however, is gorgeous, and did I mention I got a pug puppy? :D;)

Hope you had a great holiday, Supe. :) :hi:

13. Tuscon
We have loads of pics to show you next time you come visit us, or maybe he'll post some of them here. It's like a different planet. No grass, no trees with leaves, plenty of weaponized vegetation...and the sunsets are just aaaaaaaalllllrrrrggggggllllllhhhhhhhhhh AMAZING.

The 'lectrician did have to come out, but since the house is still under warranty and all it cost us NADA. ;)

12. That was pretty much
my reaction as well..."Uh-huh...*salad guy*, eh?" :eyes: :D

I figure Nana knows more about his past than I do, after all...;)
