No school here. About 6 inches and the snow is still coming down at a brisk pace. What about you? Has the world come to a stop where you live?

3. It's 60 degrees and rainy this morning

Although we're supposed to get some wind later, and you'd think the world is ending by the meteorologists last night.

4. snow day for everyone else

I had to be stupid and live close to work and drive a 4x4.

Soon I will be the only one in the office.

5. When I worked for Media One, we had a veep that would not close

the office one day when we had 10+ inches of snow, ice one top of it, and more snow coming down (this is in Richmond, Virginia, where a few inches of slushy snow can shut down the whole area). Mr. VP insisted we could all get into work, and dammit, he was gonna prove it! He made it all the way to the mouth of the office's parking lot, where he promptly rolled his SUV. Oddly enough, the office remained closed that day.
