SNOW PICS!!
almost the whole darn country got snow in the last couple days, here in the high desert we got 2-3 inches last night

my born and raised in Phoenix sheltie had to be CARRIED out this morning cuz she was terrified of the stuff on the deck LOL

3. Aren't they the best dogs?
My old guy passed away 3 years ago at 13. I hope someday to get another one.

6. it's a really cold storm. it wa 70 degrees here yesterday at 4PM
by 7PM it was 36 and dropping

the snow started at 10PM outside temp was 22 :scared:

7. Our snow arrives tonight.
We're in the Northeast, so we're last to get blasted. We're expecting a high of 63 today, then bam!

8. yup, that's exactly what it was like
I've never lived in snow, only visited to ski etc. I'm making my DH do the errands today since he grew up with the stuff

12. you'll get the storm in a couple days probably. we were WARM here
yesterday too until about 8PM then the wind kicked up and the snow started falling

13. it is going to be cold on Sunday but they are saying your storm will be out to sea
and most likely miss us. might get a flurry or two (thank GAWD)

All we got was frozen pipes (how did yours do, by the way?) No moisture at all.

My geraniums, pansies and iris by the front door are crispy frozen.

16. i ended up spending $1.29 for a foam "tube" and covered all the pipes
i couldn't turn off

everything seems fine but my Mums are dead :shrug:

24. actually it is normal here, but I just moved here in July
it's my first winter here and after Phoenix it's a big fat hairy deal for this California raised girl
