I got an incredible new job!

I will be an Educational Consultant.

I get to work from home and consultant on various curriculum and teaching methods with families who are still in public school, but who educate at home or an alternative setting.

This is great! And, it will lead me to someday being a curriculum adviser at a much higher level- think in regards to textbook companies, or possibly at the state or federal level, depending upon where I decide I want to go with this! I could certainly see myself consulting on campaigns in regards to educational issues.

I've waited quite a while for some good news. It's been a hard couple of years both financially and professionally, so it's a very exciting and rewarding day for me!

I need a few bounces! :bounce: :bounce:

And really, I'm so happy and excited, I just want to cry tears of relief and joy! :cry: :cry:

9. I just finished a phone interview

for a job I must have written the description for in my sleep. Then the agency called asking me when I could start. I said, "Yesterday--Christmas is coming, remember?" It's at a pharma company, but I'm in New Jersey, and Bon Jovi is between tours!

Congrats--with the Dems coming in, things are looking better already!

It's long term in that I have a permanent employer. I work from home and are assigned clients. In addition, I can certainly recommend people into the service as well. As it is publicly funded education, the pay could always be better, but the fact that I have no daily commute and my clients are in a geographical location less than 25 miles away, it all comes out in the wash!
