The police in my fair city were faced with a great deal of excessive speeding in front of their new police headquarters building and were given a mandate to solve it.

Yes, I know what you are currently thinking: who in FUCK would speed in front of the police station? Come to Fayettenam.

So they decided that putting a speed bump all the way across Hay Street would be a WONDERFUL idea. Only problem was, they made it a foot high with semi-steep sides. It lasted a week...you had to go 65 to clear it, which was even worse than before when people were only doing 35 past the police station. You haven't lived until you've seen a Caprice Classic with all four wheels off the ground.
