Can Someone Catch Me Up On The New Season Of Battlestar Galactica

I've just rented both seasons 1 and 2 and I haven't gotten a chance to see any of the third season yet. I'm not sure when it's coming out on dvd and I'm just hooked and dying to know what happens.

Can anyone give me a quick synopsis of what's occurred so far this season?

They found a constellation marker pointing to Earth and a marker beacon left to point the way infected the Cylons with a deadly virus

Don't forget there is a virus that kills the skin jobs but doesn't hurt humans. It appears to have come from some kind of deep-space probe sent from Earth. So there is a sub-plot of perhaps some kind of virus that could kill the cylons if they do make it to earth.

Baltar was also tortured and Six made love to him inside his head while it was going on. When they finished torturing him, he said "I love you."

I think this is going to be interpreted by the cylons that he is a Christ-like person who forgives/loved even those who would torture him. But that is just my take on it. In the original show, Baltar was the leader of the cylons, perhaps this is the way he gets to be their leader this time.

But, yeah, BSG is very very addictive.

6. They'll be repeating season 3 starting in December or January

The show goes on hiatus for a couple months and while it's off they'll be replaying all the episodes that have already aired. I'm ridiculously dorky when it comes to BSG.
