8. I have a Science Fiction novel

that deals with time travel. One group goes back in time to try and stop the European invasion of the Americas thinking this will lead to a less bloody history.

At one point they see people from another time line trying to accomplish the exact opposite (in their time line the North American native cultures invaded Europe)

I can't remember the title or author, I'll see if I can find it in my book shelves.
