the secretary at my company. she's a compLeteLy horribLe person in generaL (i couLd fiLL a few pages of the few awfuL things she's done to peopLe) but the Latest news just pushed her over the top.

she was bragging yesterday about her thanksgiving dinner coming up.... and how she didn't have to pay for any of it. she heLped herseLf to one of the turkey meaLs they give out to the poor. she's so proud that she fLirted/conned the guy into giving her a meaL meant for peopLe who are actuaLLy hungry.
that is just disgusting on so many LeveLs. i'd say i'm shocked that she bragged about it, but she's bragged about some unseemLy acts prior.

It was about this time of year - around Thanksgiving - and she was telling people how she was going to dump her boyfriend, but wait until after Christmas, so she could keep the gifts.

8. A few years ago I volunteered to help pass out T-Day meals to the homeless

and poor and was shocked to see some of the other volunteers bring tupperware containers and fill them up prior to the "formal" distribution of meals. These people were well off but felt they were "owed" something for their time. Reminded me of a Homer quote (Simpson, that is) "Did you know that these so called "volunteers" don't even get paid?"

Your co-worker reminds me of those people.
