Here is my offical "Gay Man's Check-off List"

1. Come out of the closet. - DONE (there wasn't a door strong enough to keep me out)

2. Live in San Francisco - DONE 1986 - 2000

3. Have multiple "dates" with various hot men. - DONE (Let's just say at one point I had sign outside of my old apartment in SF that read "Over ------- many served" like McDonalds)

4. Make out with boyfriend dejour on Castro Street (see questions 2 & 3)

5. Sing on stage as "A Supreme" w/ Mary Wilson. - DONE .... twice!

6. Meet the man o' my dreams and get married in Las Vegas by "Elvis". - DONE

7. Move to Los Angeles and run into celbs here and there. - Currently on going.

8. Meet up and become freinds with up and coming felmale singer. - Currently in progress and I love every minute of it.

9. Meet or see a current or former or future President of the United States. - DONE (twice ... Bill Clinton .... possibly add Al Gore if he runs again and wins)

10. Hold an Oscar, Emmy, Grammy and Golden Globe award - Two out of four so far (Oscar and Emmy)

11. See Cher. - DONE (twice and probably again)

12. See Stevie Nicks - DONE (MANY times)

13. Visit New York City - DONE (twice and going back this week)

14. See Broadway show. - DONE ("The Boy From Oz")

15. Stand on the balcony of the Casa Rosda in Buenos Aris ala "Evita" - Does singing "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" on my deck count?

and tonight I'll land one of the biggest of all Gay Men's honors .............

I'M SEEING BARBRA STREISAND !!!!!!

Yes ladies and germs, tonight I'll be at Staples Center with La Babs on stage!!! I can't not begin to tell you how excited I am!!! Me, the ball and chain broken open the piggy bank and bought tickets. Ok, so she's going to look like an ant .... but WHO CARES!!!

I'M GONNA SEE BARBRA STREISAND!!!!

Oh yeah and opening up for her will be Il Divo!!! (see question #3)

17. 1 thru 4, I was stationed n SF twice while in the navy so my

footprints are all over the Castro. I was there while you were at one point, it looks like. I went through my trashy stage while there, which was revisited when I discovered AOL chatrooms in the 90's. I lived in LA although I didn't meet any famous people while there (stationed in Long Beach) and I now live near NYC so I have visited and still visit there quite a bit. that should equal 6 of your items! :D

i've seen the Divine Miss M twice -- but not La Streisand.

i've lived off and in s.f. for years -- i love the bay area.
i.e. i remember trocadero transfer, dreamland, and sutro baths.

used to live in n.y. -- i held hands in public with my first lover there.

i've been proposed to -- but not married.

i've done drag a couple of times - but i am so ugly a woman -- the humour even slides off.

i've followed stevie for many years -- i think i've seen her 5 times -- but i was on acid a couple of those times -- so i may have imagined it.

I went to The Troc in 1985 right before I moved to SF. It was a great club and closed down right after I moved to the city.

Stevie has a HUGE gay and lesbian following. Every year in NYC there is a show called "Night of 1000's Stevies" drag queens, straight girls and probably some lesbians dress up ala Stevie and twirl the night away!!

Barbra asked who was a democrat and who was a repub. The repubs were pretty loud and on their best behavior I might add.

But guess who was also there???

NANCY PELOSI!!!! She got a HUGE standing ovation when Barbra introduced her. As was Barbara Boxer!!!

What a great night!!
