4. I don't know if I'd say greatest - but certainly one of the greatest,
and totally underappreciated.

Though i'm glad it has developed a huge cult following in the years since it came out.

It's a brilliant movie.

10. wasn't a sequel or prequel planned?
I thought I heard rumor of that waaaaaaaaay long ago. Certainly one of my all-time favorite movies.

7. Luc Besson, Quite Often, Rocks
Edited on Sun Nov-12-06 09:23 AM by Crisco
At least he did in the 1990s.

The Big Blue (88)
La Femme Nikita
The Professional
The Fifth Element

Started going downhill a little with Joan.

I'm looking forward to Arthur and the Minimoys.

9. It has its moments
Best post-Vader villain: Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg (played by Gary Oldman).

Best SF pathos: Leelu learning what the definition of "War" is.

13. I think every one of us who made it through that whole movie
deserves a Congressional Medal of Honor.

Jesus, what a lsoer of a movie. As bad as Nemesis, though not quite as ethically evil as that abomination.

There really should be some kind of governmental award for people who sit through truly unwatchable movies like Ultraviolet.

So, I say - I will sit through any movie will Milla in it, though having sat once through it, I shall never again sit through Ultraviolet, even if they digitally edit it so that Milla is naked through the whole thing.
