Does anyone remember this album?

Bought it in a music shop back when it was first released, on the strength of hearing it play over the sound system.

Wore out two copies of it subsequently.

A friend just gave me a CD copy. First time I'd heard it for years.

Damn, what a fine album.

Anyone else know of it?

2. This album was released in 1986.

His first solo release.

He had been in The Nerves and The Plimsouls, two seminal power pop bands. Went solo with this one.

Quite a musicologist as well.

Occasionally I'll post something about this artist - so far, no one remembers him (myself included).




His voice is eerily similar to Nat King Cole and he's always compared to Sam Cooke and Otis Redding.

11. That's a great album. I used to work at a recording studio and the Plimsouls

were getting together to re-record "Million Miles Away." (This was in 1994...for some movie.)

I have a friend who is a HUGE Peter Case fan and so I got Peter to sign a copy of his latest cd for me.

The Plimsouls were all cool guys. One of them looked like he was still living in the eighties.
