I'm on a big Charlotte Gainsbourg kick at the moment & this was suitably cheap and offbeat for my tastes. (Although the kick's taken in Love, etc and My Wife is an Actress which are much less intese, but both excellent.)

mediocre movies. I do own a few treasures, though. Repo Man, Dark Star and....and....hmmm I think that is all.

70. That's kind of sad.
I have the long versions of each of the Lord of the Rings and have watched all of them many times. I have probably rewatched V for Vendetta at least 10 times, including last Sunday on the 5th of November. There are movies I get more out of each time I rewatch them. Ever have a book you consider good enough to reread or is it once for them too? It is your choice, but you are probably in the minority.

75. Sad?
I have a pretty good memory so I get bored if I watch the same movie more than a couple of times. I am also patient so I don't need to have a copy of every movie I like on hand. I can either rent it again or wait for it to come on TV(I can tivo it).
I just can't see spending 15 dollars on owning a movie.
I do reread books that I enjoyed. I usually wait a couple of years to do it though.

I bought one of the old Criterion versions before they put out this new package. . .

Still pretty fucking expensive as it was. . . but it was Birthday money.

Damn I just realize I haven't bought a D.V.D since The Beginning of September.. for me that's a pretty long stretch.

Bought them at the same time.

Got "Hoodwinked" for my little nephew, but I ended up watching it with him. It's funny - a kinda dry humor. And is actually clever in it's take of the Little Red Riding Hood fairytale.

"The Office: S2" was for me. I'm totally in love with that show right now.

Some kind of opera style group.

Funny story: This summer, she calls me from work to have me check on availability of tickets to see Il Divo. I told her I didn't know they were back together, and "Whip It" was the only song of theirs that I knew.

Shows you how much culture I have!
