any computer whiz out there? Need help with browser
Havocdad downloaded latest Windows update (and cannot tell me exactly what that was, ARRRGGG) and since then, graphics are not loading correctly. Like, I can't see avatars, little graphics on my weather sites, little graphics on the DU boards, Webshots is sorta hit and miss for viewing the photos, and so on. Really bugs me.

This morning, I decided to download Mozilla since many here have recommended it. Ooops, same problem on that browser.

Any suggestions? Also, how do I import my IE favorites to the Mozilla browser. Tried doing steps shown on Mozilla help topics, but it said to click 'save' and save was never anywhere to click.

OK, before anyone answers, please keep in mind that I am well over 40 AND blonde... be very clear in any suggestions you offer

Thanks for any and all help.

1. LOL
40+ and blonde, you poor thing. ;-)

If you go back to the Windows Update site (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com) there is a link to "View Installation History" and you can see what was installed when. Note the number that appears in most every update description (sometimes they start with a Q, sometimes not). If you then go into Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs, scroll to the bottom to see the listing of installed hotfixes. Match the number you wrote down from the Windows Update page to the hotfix number, and you can uninstall it. That may undo the damage.

Odd that the same problem would happen in Mozilla though.

Anyway, to bring your Favorites over to Mozilla:

In IE, click File.. Import and Export. Run the Wizard to export your Favorites to a file. Have it save the file to your Desktop, or another folder where you will be able to find it. Then go into Mozilla, click Bookmarks.. Manage Bookmarks. Then click Tools.. Import, find the file you created from IE, and click Open to bring them in.

Hope that helps!
