Any GWU alums or current students here?
Edited on Sun Dec-28-03 04:09 AM by Hippo_Tron
I'm considering applying to this school in a year or so and was wondering if there were any alumni or current students who might be able to give me some information. I've heard that this school is extremely political and liberal which means I'll fit right in. My questions are mainly is this school difficult to get into (mostly what kind of GPA do I need for them to look at my application) and should I go to this school if I don't necessarily want to pursue a career that involves politics in some way. Also, is the tuition really 30k.

3. To answer your questions
Edited on Sun Dec-28-03 04:25 AM by RageAgainstTheirMach
1) GW is more political than most but not the most political in DC

2) GW is about average in liberalness relative to most big universities

3) GW is not that hard to get into ... not sure about GPA requirements

4) GW is great for other careers other than political ones - international, media and business related fields are especially strong at GW

Feel free to IM or E-mail with any questions.

Edit: Sorry, with room and board, GW is around 42K

5. It's a private school
so the tuition is high. Why not go to a state school ?
