Have you ever tried democracy? If so how and where?
It's a rare premium here in America, but you can buy it contraband if you really look for it.

1. Switzerland has a pretty good direct democracy.
I think it's sad that school children of my era (1970s) were taught that the US was the freest and most Democratic nation on earth, as well as one of the oldest democracies on earth. Simply untrue. I don't know whether most students of my era were taught the same things, but I distinctly remember a ninth-grade American history class in which the teacher eviscerated Madalyn Murray O'Hair, declaring that people of her "ilk" would be the downfall of not only public education, but democracy itself. :eyes:
