I had to appraise a house in it today too! At least it was a small (1200 sq. ft.) house. It would have been totally horrid otherwise. :hi:

1. Oh, ick
I'm sorry. I don't mind it if I have the day off and I know everyone's safe and sound, but if I have to go out in it, that's a different story.

We're s'posed to have something move through here on Sunday night. I hate when they hem and haw and stall and don't say What, though...that's when I get nervous.

:hug::hug::hug:

Stay warm.

5. Heh...happens like that here all the time.
This time last week, I had over two feet of snow in my yard. Except for yesterday, we've been pushing 70 every day since. Can't tell it ever snowed.

And we're doing okay...getting through, anyway.

7. I had a girlfriend who lived in Aurora ten years ago.
She said it was horrible trying to dress the baby for everyday because the weather would change so erratically. :hi:

9. Yup.
Layers take on a whole new meaning. I keep a jacket and a sweater in the car 365 days a year.

And a blanket. And a few chairs. And some books. And a notebook. And....

10. Yeah, where's global warming when you need it?
It snowed here last sunday evening. Started with rain. Then strong wind followed by 3 - 4 inches of snow.

Next morning the roads were covered with ice. And the highway dept. sort of "forgot" to respond.

Four days later it's still cold. I think it's going to be a long winter. :scared:

It was so nice the other day too :-(

I guess I should be used to this weather by now. This year I'm just not ready for it.

It's getting pretty heavy out there now.

19. Seems like it's always a surprise, no?
Funny how that works. All I know is time is just flying past me at an alarming rate and I can't seem to keep up lately. I woke up yesterday thinking "Oh my god, it's NOVEMBER?"

I must be old or sumpin'.

12. I feel your pain! I hauled out the long underwear yesterday.
They're Cuddle Duds, though, and they're silky and black, so they're kind of nice to wear!

But I can
Weather the storm.

Does 'warm' rhyme with 'storm'?
Or should it be 'worm'?
;-)
